Job Title: Member Services Representative (Bilingual)

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire with opportunity for permanent role based on performance and attendance (3–6 months)

Pay Rate: $23/hour w/ benefits

Work Location: Fully Remote (Candidates must reside in CA, AZ, NM, TX, or NV)

Work Hours: Shifts will vary within business hours of 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST, Weekend rotation and some holiday coverage will be required as needed

Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM PST (2 weeks)

Start Date: August 18th


Language Requirements for this Position. Must be Bilingual in English and at least one of the languages below:

  • Cantonese
  • Mandarin
  • Vietnamese
  • Korean

Note: A language test is required to be considered for the role and to schedule an interview.


Job Description:

As a Member Services Representative, you will primarily handle inbound calls and serve members by being an advocate and point of contact for questions and concerns regarding benefits, eligibility, referrals, claims, and other aspects of plan services. You must ensure member satisfaction by providing superior customer service and maintaining a professional demeanor.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide language interpretation for incoming calls
  • Perform light administrative tasks during downtime such as database cleanup, ad hoc projects, and light outbound calls.
  • Participate in training on administrative duties and call expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English and one of the required languages (Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, or Korean)
  • At least 1 year of recent call center customer service experience.
  • Must be able to work in Pacific Standard Time.

Preferred Experience:

  • 1 year of healthcare experience in addition to call center experience.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience in healthcare, doctor’s office, dental office, or hospitality.
