Quality Inspector

Job Title: Quality Inspector ($28/hour)

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Inspector for our aerospace military defense machine shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting parts using micrometers and calipers, and should possess a deep understanding of AS9102 forms 1-3.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts using precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Conduct first article inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain quality control standards within the aerospace environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and quality assurance.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers.
• In-depth knowledge of AS9102 forms 1-3.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a quality inspector in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in quality control within the aerospace sector.
• Strong team player with the ability to work effectively in a small team of 6-8 members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email communication.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
