Job Title: Medical Assistant - Women's Health
Women's Health clinic in DTLA is looking for a medical assistant to join their team to support the back office! MA diploma is required. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain extensive back office experience! 6 MONTHS - 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bilingual in Spanish
- MA diploma
- Willing to learn and train within the back office
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Assist providers with clinical procedures as needed
- Perform EKGs, injections, and blood draws (as applicable)
- Update and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
- Provide excellent customer service and patient support
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred (or completion of an MA program)
- Knowledge of basic clinical procedures and medical terminology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA 90015.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
