Join a mission-driven team at the forefront of healthcare innovation. UCLA Health is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist (CIS) to help drive data-powered solutions that improve patient outcomes and support value-based care initiatives. As a key member of the OPHAC team, you'll bridge the gap between clinical operations and data science-translating complex information into actionable insights that impact thousands of lives.

In this role you will:
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement informatics solutions that advance population health and accountable care goals.
  • Design and maintain data infrastructure to support financial and clinical quality reporting across OPHAC's programs.
  • Lead end-to-end informatics projects through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)-including requirements gathering, system design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Conduct robust clinical and financial analyses; deliver clear summaries and data-driven recommendations to leadership.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on OPHAC's internal and external data assets, guiding team members in leveraging data for maximum impact.
Salary range: $102,500.00- $227,700.00/annually

Job Qualifications
Qualifications

Required:
  • Any EPIC Data Model certification
  • 5+ years in Healthcare industry
  • 5+ years in data architecture with strong SQL programming Skill (MS t-SQL and/or Oracle PL/SQL)
  • 4+ years in building ETL solutions with SSIS
  • 2+ years in SSRS
  • 1+ years in Tableau
