As an Interiors Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing aircraft seating and interior monuments, including galleys, lavatories, and class dividers. Upholstery experience is preferred.
Responsibilities- Repair passenger and crew seats.
- Repair interior monuments such as galleys, lavatories, and class dividers.
- Repair overhead bins and side walls.
- Disassemble components, identify malfunctions, and make necessary repairs.
- Read and interpret inspection reports, blueprints, and schematics to determine the type of repair, tools required, and plan the sequence of operations.
- Perform sheet metal fabrication according to drawings.
- Conduct composite and laminate repairs.
- Reassemble components to meet company, customer, and FAA standards.
- Accurately read and follow schematics, blueprints, and work orders.
- Mechanical skills related to aircraft interiors.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools.
- Experience in the aviation industry, specifically with corporate aircraft.
- Experience with upholstery is preferred.
- Experience using power tools and finishing tools.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
