Interiors Mechanic

As an Interiors Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing aircraft seating and interior monuments, including galleys, lavatories, and class dividers. Upholstery experience is preferred.

• Repair passenger and crew seats.
• Repair interior monuments such as galleys, lavatories, and class dividers.
• Repair overhead bins and side walls.
• Disassemble components, identify malfunctions, and make necessary repairs.
• Read and interpret inspection reports, blueprints, and schematics to determine the type of repair, tools required, and plan the sequence of operations.
• Perform sheet metal fabrication according to drawings.
• Conduct composite and laminate repairs.
• Reassemble components to meet company, customer, and FAA standards.
• Accurately read and follow schematics, blueprints, and work orders.

• Mechanical skills related to aircraft interiors.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in using hand tools.
• Experience in the aviation industry, specifically with corporate aircraft.

• Experience with upholstery is preferred.
• Experience using power tools and finishing tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
