Job Qualifications
Qualifications
- Active license to practice as a Physician Assistant in California and must possess certification as Certified Physician Assistant through NCCPA -Required
- Degree from accredited Physician Assistant Program -Required ( Master's Degree from a PA program preferred)
- A minimum of 2 years pediatric cardiology experience- required
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross-required
- Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs -required
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-required
- Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction-required
- Ability to set priorities-required
- Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence-required
- Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner-required
- This is one Advanced Practice Provider position within the Structural Heart Program that will be filled be either a PA or NP (ref#1247)
