In this role, you will work under the general supervisor of the Chief Radiation Therapy Technologist and your functions will include:
*May be hired as Radiation Therapist if less than 5 years of experience.
Salary for Senior: $66.04 - $87.12 hourly
Salary for Radiation Therapist: $61.60 - $81.20 hourly

In this role, you will work under the general supervisor of the Chief Radiation Therapy Technologist and your functions will include:
- Applying ionizing radiation according to MD's prescription (3D,IMRT,SBRT,SRS,HDR)
- Patient scheduling and appointments
- Performing dose calculations
- Treatment data entry
- Working with physicians, physicists and dosimetrists to perform simulations and treatment planning CT's

Job Qualifications
Qualifications
Required:
- ARRT License
- CRT License
- 5 or more years radiation therapy experience
- BLS/CPR from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Skill in working with different types of treatment machines such as MR Scanner, CT Scanner, HDR units and Linear Accelerators and ability to recognize when hazardous conditions may exist
- Ability to lift cerrobend blocks weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Knowledge of basic physics as applicable to Radiation Therapy.
- Ability to use an electronic calculator to perform dose calculations.
- Skill in communicating various technical aspects of Radiation Therapy at a level understood by patients.
- Skill in recognizing and reporting any adverse patient therapy reactions.
- Knowledge of the principles and applications of thermo-luminescent dosimeters.
- Skill in reading documents written with medical terminology and ability to read and implement computer-generated physics treatment plans.
- Knowledge of basic nursing procedures.
- Working knowledge of University procedures regarding isolation of immuno-suppressed patients.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with physicians and physicists.
