Video Editor - Social

Summary

A leading tech company is seeking video editors for a 1-2 month contract position focused on social-first content. We’re looking for a talented team member who thrives in a quick-turn, fluid environment.

You must have a proven track record of successful social content creation and social-first craft showcased in your portfolio. (UGC storytelling, motion graphics, trending social templates & elements.) The ideal candidate is a conceptual thinker, has a finger on the pulse of social trends and culture, and is a strategic and proactive problem solver.

Required Skills

Deep understanding of short-form social content and expertise in designing, editing, and assembling quality thumb-stopping pieces

Partner with Creative and Comms Team on strategically producing content for social channels

Work collaboratively and cross-functionally across product communications teams, creative teams, and other stakeholders to build and execute plans to support the C-level executive in leading announcements.

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of experience creating content across all mediums, including photo, video, and social media.

Experience producing for social platforms

Experience working in dynamic environments, changing schedules and on quick-turn projects.

Organizational and time management skills that can adapt to shifting priorities.

*Must be located in SF Bay, and able to come to the office as needed.*
