Overview:

We’re seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Cabling Technician to support structured cabling installations in commercial environments across Modesto, CA. This role involves working at heights, handling overtime, and being part of a fast-paced team focused on delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities:

• Install, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6 cables and fiber optic lines.
• Mount and secure cable trays, j-hooks, and other support structures.
• Operate lifts and work at elevated heights safely and confidently.
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces and adhere to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members and site supervisors to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in low-voltage or structured cabling preferred.
• Comfortable working on lifts and at heights (certification a plus).
• Must be open to overtime and flexible scheduling.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
