Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist and Programmer with expertise in operating CNC Mills or Lathes. The ideal candidate will possess experience in Mastercam, with the ability to edit programs and a preference for programming capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program CNC Mills or Lathes, with a preference for expertise in both.
• Utilize Mastercam software for editing and programming tasks.
• Maintain precision with a tolerance of +/- 5.
• Work with 5-axis machinery and handle materials such as aluminum and steel.
• Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in fanuc systems and Mastercam programming.
• Experience with both CNC Mills and Lathes.
• Ability to maintain a tolerance of +/- 5.
• Knowledge of working with 5-axis machinery.
• Familiarity with aluminum and steel materials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with conventional mills and lathes is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a large indoor manufacturing and industrial shop, with a team of over 20 employees.

This is a Contract position based out of Monrovia, CA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
