Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Helper to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. As a production associate, you will be involved in the production and preparation of steel framing, drywall supplies, and construction materials for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Pull will call orders for customers.
• Organize and maintain will call records.
• Verify every load before shipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and warehouse.
• Perform job duties primarily outside in an open yard with overhung outdoor storage, exposed to weather elements daily.
• Lift up to 60lbs as part of daily tasks.

Essential Skills

• General labor experience.
• Production experience.
• Heavy lifting up to 50lbs
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or relevant fields.
• Skills in packaging and loading.

Work Environment

This role is based in an indoor/outdoor steel yard and warehouse environment. The setting is known to be noisy and dusty, with exposure to weather elements. You will be working closely with a small team of about 10-15 employees. The team is diverse, and fluency in Spanish is beneficial.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, CA.

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
