Job Description
This entry-level position is open due to an increased workload and a substantial number of projects in need of support. The role provides an excellent opportunity for those interested in getting started in machining, tube bending, and related fields.
Responsibilities
- Assist in various departments as needed
- Follow verbal and written instructions effectively
- Perform tasks ranging from sweeping floors and maintaining buildings to cleaning properties and removing weeds
- Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
- Experience with tape measure is a significant advantage
- Basic understanding of cleaning, precision, sanding, and general labor in a metalworking and manufacturing environment
- No certifications required
- Familiarity with metal products and metalworking is beneficial

Work Environment
The work environment is industrial and gritty, typical of a manufacturing setting. Employees should be comfortable in a noisy, dirty environment akin to an indoor construction site. Expect to get your clothes and hands dirty while working alongside machinists, welders, and other floor employees. Working hours are from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
