Responsibilities
- Coordinate transport, incoming inventory, supply, and deliveries.
- Assist in the office with coordination tasks.
- Load and unload trucks daily, managing both incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Operate effectively on challenging conditions such as uneven flooring and heavy loads.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse during slow periods.
- Provide additional support in the warehouse as needed.
Essential Skills
- Experience in warehouse coordination.
- Attention to detail, as each pallet holds products valued at $10,000.
- Willingness to assist in all areas and take initiative.
- Desire for a long-term career.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with transportation and dispatch.
- Proficiency in material handling, including forklift operation and inventory control.
- Data entry skills and experience with shipping and receiving.

Work Environment
The work environment is located in West Oakland, with two facilities: a small warehouse and a larger one across the street. The team is small, consisting of 6-8 employees. Safety is prioritized, with safety vests and seat belts required at all times. The larger warehouse has a history as a metal/fabrication shop, so employees must navigate uneven flooring and railroad tracks cautiously. Employees are expected to help maintain a clean warehouse, sweeping resin pellets as needed.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of OAKLAND, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
