Job Description
The Project Administrator will oversee the comprehensive process of meter transfers, including pre-transfer activities, execution, and post-transfer tasks. This role involves coordinating with utility companies, managing internal notifications, and ensuring seamless meter transfer execution. Additionally, the position includes responsibilities related to VNEM allocation reevaluation, customer utility bill collection, and rate adjustments post-PTO. The Project Administrator will also engage in reviewing lease documents for AI evaluation and managing meter returns.
- Conduct pre-transfer activities and checks, such as credit checks and meter identification.
- Initiate and confirm meter transfers by communicating with utility companies.
- Notify internal stakeholders for each transfer, including Accounts Payable and Billing.
- Complete closing tasks for VNEM projects, including creating records for future transfers.
- Analyze and adjust VNEM allocations post-PTO to maximize value.
- Update allocation percentages in utility portals.
- Collect customer utility bills.
- Review Phoenix market leases for AI evaluation by downloading and reading documents for specific language.
- Evaluate and implement optimal utility rate options post-PTO for each site.
- Draft and send communication emails to individual customers regarding meter returns.
- Track meter return status and escalate unresolved issues with RECX managers.

Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring 2-3 days onsite based on performance. The role is situated in a corporate office environment as the first coordinator of the meter management team. Flexibility with travel is necessary. The company is a public entity with offices throughout Southern California, offering growth opportunities as part of a new business line.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Ontario, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
