Job Title: Process Controller (2nd Shift)
Job Description
As a Process Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the forge shop operations to ensure that furnaces maintain precise temperature accuracy. You will be responsible for collecting forge production data, particularly for parts requiring close observation for customer and quality assurance purposes, and maintaining accurate records in the system.
Responsibilities
- Monitor forge shop to ensure furnaces maintain temperature accuracy.
- Collect and record forge production data for quality and customer purposes.
- Verify logged information on chart recorders against work orders.
- Report any non-conformances such as oversized/undersized dimensions and lack of fill.
- Use an Infra-Red pyrometer to check parts at temperature before removing them from the furnace.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in production processes.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with forging and quality control.
- Ability to conduct inspections in a foundry setting.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to read and write in English with accuracy.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to keep track of the forging process.
- Willingness to assist in other departments.
- Entry-level role, ideal for gaining experience in quality control.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Paramount, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
