Grinder/shop Labor

As a Grinder/Shop Laborer, you will be responsible for cleaning and detailing parts and components using a variety of hand and power tools. This role requires adherence to mechanical blueprint instructions and specific directions for detailing parts. You will also be responsible for scanning jobs into the Made2Manage (M2M) and traveler systems while ensuring all safety procedures are followed.

• Clean and detail parts and components using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Follow mechanical blueprint instructions for detailing.
• Advise the Lead or Supervisor of any problems encountered.
• Scan jobs into the Made2Manage (M2M) and traveler systems.
• Follow all safety procedures in handling equipment.
• Meet deadlines.
• Move parts and components to various departments as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Experience with grinding and general labor in a production environment.
• Ability to follow mechanical blueprints and specific directions.

• Ability to move parts and components efficiently.
• Capacity to perform related duties as assigned.

The position is based in a heavy manufacturing environment that is not climate-controlled. The role requires the use of correct body mechanics during physical activities such as pushing, pulling, stooping, squatting, sitting, and lifting as necessary. Work hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm on the 1st Shift, with a maximum of 5-8 overtime hours per week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pomona, CA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
