Responsibilities- Operate equipment to accurately utilize raw ingredient materials.
- Ensure understanding of all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Utilize tools and electronic/computer systems for compounding and container filling.
- Use computer, scan gun, or other tools to correctly match ingredients to shop orders.
- Follow production, safety, quality, and operational procedures to verify and record information during production.
- Ensure proper ventilation and use of safety equipment.
- Develop understanding of Quality Control requirements for sampling, product testing, and swabbing of equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience, ideally in a pharmaceutical, food, or nutraceutical environment.
- Experience in lifting, blending, and machine operating.
- Strong knowledge and emphasis on safety.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math skills, including ratios and weighing of products.
- Knowledge of FDA/GMP regulations.
- Ability to follow procedures and directions to properly identify products and follow formulas.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to lift 50-75+ lbs on a regular basis.
- Knowledge of machine operating and production.
- Motivation and a good attitude with the ability to learn.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Work EnvironmentThis role is within a flavor and fragrances manufacturing company, specializing in sweet flavors such as strawberry, root beer, and peanut butter. The work environment consists of a small team of 15 people, requiring the ability to work independently and take initiative. The shift is from 5 am to 1:30 pm.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
