Job Title: Carpenter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled carpenter with a experience in finish carpentry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in constructing and assembling wall panels, floor systems, and roof structures using wood and other materials. You will interpret blueprints and construction plans to ensure accurate layout and execution, and work collaboratively with other trades to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Construct and assemble wall panels, floor systems, and roof structures using wood and other framing materials.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate layout and execution.
  • Install Baseboards, Trim, Windows, Doors, and other finish components
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines and quality standards.
  • Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and structural requirements.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of finish carpentry experience in residential or modular construction.
  • Strong understanding of framing techniques, materials, and structural principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Skilled in using framing tools such as nail guns, saws, levels, and measuring devices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Journeyman level with at least 3 years of carpentry experience.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship.
  • Familiarity with construction in a manufacturing or modular building environment is a plus.

Work Environment

The position is based in a manufacturing construction setting with a shift schedule of Monday to Friday from 2pm to 10:30pm, with occasional half-day Saturdays. The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, emphasizing safety and quality in all aspects of construction.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
