Join a dynamic team where you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production, facility, and fleet equipment. Your role involves troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues, ensuring timely repairs, and maintaining liquid product manufacturing equipment, forklifts, trailers, vehicles, and facility systems. You will install, adjust, and align industrial machinery and equipment while safely operating hand tools, power tools, hoists, lifts, and diagnostic equipment.
Responsibilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production, facility, and fleet equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues and complete repairs in a timely manner.
- Maintain and repair liquid product manufacturing equipment, forklifts, trailers, vehicles, and facility systems.
- Install, adjust, and align industrial machinery and equipment as required.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, hoists, lifts, and diagnostic equipment.
- Complete work orders and accurately document maintenance activities using CMMS (Fiix preferred).
- Assist with equipment inspections and identify potential issues before failure occurs.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas, tools, and maintenance storage areas.
- Communicate equipment status, repair needs, and safety concerns to the Maintenance Manager.
- Support production operations by responding to breakdowns and minimizing downtime.
- Assist contractors and vendors during onsite maintenance or repair activities as needed.
- Minimum 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic experience preferred.
- Ability to diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs with limited supervision.
- Experience using CMMS systems to document maintenance activities.
- Working knowledge of industrial safety practices and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and drawings.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
- Skills in welding and fabrication.
- Service-oriented approach to maintenance and repair tasks.

Work EnvironmentWork in a large manufacturing environment that produces fire retardant materials. Expect a hot, loud, and dusty production floor, where attire is prone to staining due to retardant coloring. The role requires wearing steel toe shoes, dark color pants and shirt, with PPE provided including a hard hat, safety glasses, and ear protection.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
