Job Title: Laborer (Contract position)
Job Description
This role supports a building renovation project by performing general labor tasks such as stripping wallpaper, cleaning the site, and safely using basic hand tools. You will help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area within an occupied high-rise building.
Responsibilities
- Strip wallpaper and prepare walls and surfaces as directed by the renovation team.
- Perform general site cleanup, including removing debris, sweeping, and organizing materials.
- Handle and operate basic hand tools safely and effectively to support renovation activities.
- Assist construction staff with moving materials, equipment, and supplies around the work area.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with other team members.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment throughout the project.
- Comply with all on-site safety rules, procedures, and guidelines while working in a high-rise building.
Essential Skills
- General labor experience in a construction or renovation environment.
- Construction background with familiarity with basic renovation tasks.
- Proficiency in using basic hand tools safely and correctly.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail when stripping wallpaper and cleaning work areas.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience working on building renovation projects.
- Experience working in occupied or multi-story buildings.
- Strong work ethic and reliability, with a focus on safety and quality.

Work Environment

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Bernardino, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
