About the Role
We are seeking a Software Test Development Engineer (SDET) to join a global engineering team focused on building robust automation solutions. In this role, you will design and implement tools and frameworks that accelerate testing, optimize infrastructure, and reduce manual processes. You’ll develop dashboards, data parsers, automated UI flows, and analytics utilities to support a 24/7 automated test environment. This position involves creating automation for validating new features in a mobile SDK.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with development teams to define requirements and design automated test suites for SDK features.
Design, develop, debug, and maintain automated tests for iOS mobile SDK using Swift and XCUITest.
Build automation for native iOS testing and API validation using Java and Swift.
Implement UI automation with Appium, integrating results with TestRail and Jira.
Contribute to high-quality code through code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and documentation.
Create automation solutions to accelerate test execution and data analysis for validation teams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills
Strong programming skills in Swift (iOS).
Hands-on experience with XCUITest for iOS automation.
Proficiency in Appium for mobile app testing.
Familiarity with TestRail for test management and Jira for defect tracking.
Preferred Skills
Python scripting for automation.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
Experience in regulated environments or device testing.
System Knowledge
Mobile app development and test environments.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
3–10 years of relevant experience.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00/hr.
