Job Description

Responsibilities
- Conduct TVAC testing to simulate the thermal and vacuum conditions of space.
- Perform environmental testing, including temperature, humidity, and altitude tests.
- Execute vibration and shock testing to assess the durability of components under launch and operational conditions.
- Set up and operate test equipment, including thermal chambers, vibration tables, and shock machines.
- Monitor and record test data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Essential Skills
- Experience with TVAC chambers, vibration tables, and shock testing equipment.
- Proficiency in environmental testing techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent technical training.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental testing, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Familiarity with data acquisition systems and software is a plus.
Work Environment
The role requires working in a lab/cleanroom environment, utilizing advanced test equipment such as thermal chambers and vibration tables.
