Job Description
The Clinical Data Analyst will be responsible for developing study-specific annotated CRFs, database documentation, edit check specifications, data handling conventions, and data entry instructions. This role involves programming SAS edit checks and macros for clinical trials, designing and developing robust ETL/ELT pipelines, and managing both structured and unstructured data sources.
Responsibilities
- Develop annotated CRFs, database documentation, and edit check specifications.
- Program SAS edit checks and macros for clinical trials, including ETL processes and report generation.
- Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Manage database administration tasks and resolve data management issues.
- Conduct data automation tasks, including software development and validation.
- Collaborate with biostatistics, data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to support AI/ML model development.
- Optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across platforms.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture, processes, and workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or related field.
- Proficiency in SAS, including SAS Base, SAS Graph, and SAS Listing.
- Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and RShiny.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience supporting model pipelines.
- Working knowledge of data manipulation, processing, and extraction from large datasets.
- Advanced degree preferred in relevant quantitative fields.
- Familiarity with Power BI, R, HTML, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools.
The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will collaborate with a diverse team of biostatisticians, data scientists, and other stakeholders in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The position may require familiarity with various software tools and the ability to adapt to new technologies as they emerge.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
