This role sits on the Clients Banking Partnerships team, supporting products like QuickBooks Checking and lending.
The position is a hands-on Program Manager focused on:
• Building process automation workflows from scratch (initial priority)
• Managing external fintech/banking partners
• Driving operational efficiency and compliance processes
The role will evolve from execution-focused (automation build) into a broader strategic PM role overseeing partner operations and process improvements.
Job Description (Detailed)
This Program Manager III will lead initiatives at the intersection of fintech operations, compliance, and partner management, with a strong emphasis on process design and automation.
Process Automation & Workflow Design (Primary Focus)
• Build end-to-end workflows from scratch, primarily using Airtable and Google Sheets
• Translate fragmented, manual processes into standardized, automated systems
• Design solutions that:
o Track deliverables (e.g., recurring reporting across teams)
o Automate reminders and escalations
o Provide real-time visibility into status and accountability
• Continuously maintain and iterate on workflows to ensure scalability and reliability
Operational Program Management
• Own and drive core operational processes supporting fintech and banking partnerships
• Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and failure points, and implement improvements
• Establish structured operating rhythms, reporting cadences, and performance tracking
• Monitor operational metrics and use insights to improve performance and reduce friction
Partner Management & External Engagement
• Act as a primary liaison between Intuit and external banking/fintech partners
• Gather partner requirements and translate them into actionable internal workflows
• Manage partner expectations, deliverables, and communication
• Support SLA tracking and performance accountability
• Represent Intuit in external-facing discussions, presentations, and updates
Compliance & Risk Alignment
• Support workflows tied to KYC, KYB, and CIP requirements
• Ensure operational processes align with banking regulations and audit readiness standards
• Partner with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to maintain adherence to requirements
• Assist in incident response workflows, including tracking, escalation, and communication
Cross-Functional Leadership
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Risk, Legal, and Customer Care teams
• Influence stakeholders without direct authority to align on priorities and execution
• Translate complex technical or regulatory requirements into clear operational plans
Data & Reporting
• Develop and manage tracking systems and dashboards
• Analyze operational trends (e.g., delays, errors, process bottlenecks)
• Use data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement

1. Airtable (Non-Negotiable)
o Must have built workflows/processes from scratch (not just used it)
2. Process Automation Experience
o Proven ability to take manual processes and turn them into automated workflows
3. Google Sheets (Advanced)
o Tracking, reporting, and integrating automation into workflows
Qualifications & Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with Airtable (non-negotiable), along with proficiency in Google Sheets and/or tools like Claude (AI workflow tools)
• Proven ability to build processes and workflows from scratch, not just manage or maintain existing ones
• Demonstrated experience creating process automation solutions, particularly replacing manual operational work with automated systems
• Ability to design workflows that include:
o Tracking recurring deliverables (weekly/monthly reporting)
o Automating reminders (7-day, 3-day, escalation notifications)
o Updating real-time status tracking in tools like Google Sheets
• Experience maintaining and iterating on workflows to ensure ongoing reliability and scalability
• Ba ckground in Business Operations or Process Automation roles
• Experience working in fintech or technology environments
• Ability to identify process gaps and inefficiencies and translate them into structured, automated solutions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to support external partner interactions and operational coordination

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.74 - $45.74/hr.
