Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Sales Planning Manager position at our Waller, TX facility. This position requires an individual that is fluent in Japanese/English. The Sales Planning Manager oversees managing organizational sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation. They will also oversee the activities and performance of the sales planning team by tracking sales and goals.

Position Responsibilities may include;
  • Responsible for the annual territory planning cycle; collaborating with Regional Sales executives on territory definitions, headcount requirements, organizational design, and sales territory assignments
  • Leads operational processes around sales segmentation, coverage models and account scoring
  • Develops analysis and surfaces insights to support annual business goals through strategic territory strategy
  • Coordinates with Sales Managers on Quarterly Business Planning cycle to develop strategies and tactical priorities by territory
  • Administers account planning and account review program and cadence across the year
  • Collaborates with regional process coaches to train, inspect and enforce the sales policies that support territory management and account planning
  • Partners with regional sales executives and CRM administrators to implement an effective and efficient account governance model
  • Partners with Marketing and Business Management Systems to drive enhanced account data, data hygiene and first-party account insights
  • Performs other tasks as assigned
Nature & Scope:
  • Ensures work is aligned with the Director's expectations, goals, and vision
  • Accountable for implementation of policies, processes, and procedures for short-term results
  • Decisions and problem-solving are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from Senior Manager/Director
  • Works on difficult to moderately complex issues and projects
  • Provides guidance and training to subordinates
  • Has authority to hire, recommend pay, establish performance and recommend for termination
  • Level of signing authority established by company policy/guidelines
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Proven experience in B2B technology sales
  • Extensive experience with B2B sales technologies, methodologies, and processes
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with experience delivering content to executive audiences
  • Deep experience modeling complex business problems, both conceptually and tactically
  • Excellent quantitative and MS Excel skills
  • Thorough understanding of CRM applications and best practices; Salesforce.com preferred
  • Experience with MS PowerBI, Tableau or other analysis/BI tools
  • Thorough understanding of current B2B marketing strategies, digital platforms, and trends
Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in: Quantitative business analysis, Forecasting & production planning, Finance & cost accounting
Education/Certification:
  • BS/MS degree in Business; MBA or equivalent working experience is a plus
