IMMEDIATE HIRING FOR MACHINE OPERATORS

We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate cable manufacturing machinery at required speeds, ensure proper setup, and maintain specified tolerances. You will be responsible for completing required tests on cable products, performing general departmental tasks—including safety, housekeeping, and documentation—and supporting operations by assisting on other cable lines or performing additional tasks as assigned by the manager.

• Set up and operate cable machines safely, efficiently, and in accordance with production requirements.
• Maintain required tolerances and monitor equipment performance throughout production runs.
• Perform cable testing and verify product quality according to established procedures.
• Follow production plans, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist other cable lines and perform cross‑functional tasks as needed.
• Support departmental activities including housekeeping, organization, and adherence to safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, job instructions, and equipment manuals.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status or issues.

• Experience operating industrial manual machinery.
• Basic experience with setup, operation, and troubleshooting machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Comfortable with laborious work and heavy lifting.

• Inspection capabilities.
• Proficiency with a tape measure.

The position is on the 2nd shift from 2:15pm to 10:45pm, Monday to Friday, with optional overtime on weekends. The work setting is an industrial manufacturing environment, which is not temperature controlled and can vary between hot or cold depending on the weather.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Marcos, CA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
