Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as Healthcare Support. This position involves confirming and scheduling appointments for dental clinics, maintaining excellent customer service with patients, vendors, and coworkers, and handling data entry tasks. You will also be responsible for managing both inbound and outbound calls, ensuring an efficient and friendly communication process.
Responsibilities
- Confirm and schedule appointments for dental clinics.
- Maintain high levels of customer service with patients, vendors, and coworkers.
- Confirm appointments and update patient information accurately.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls efficiently.
- Perform data entry tasks related to patient information.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in customer service and call center operations.
- Experience in scheduling appointments and healthcare settings.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Interest in pursuing a career in the medical field.
- Diploma in medical or dental assisting preferred.
- X-ray certification preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic health records.
Work Environment
This role involves working in a call center environment where you will be provided with a headset. The position is part of a large medical group within Santa Barbara county, offering opportunities for growth and professional development. A comprehensive training program lasting 3-5 months will be provided, making this an excellent entry-level opportunity for those interested in the healthcare field.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Barbara, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
