Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Facility Maintenance Technician, where you will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency and safety of our facility. This role requires performing both minor maintenance tasks and coordinating with external vendors for more complex issues.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily walkthroughs of the facility to identify maintenance issues.
- Contact and coordinate with outside vendors for major repairs.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, cleaning areas, hanging pictures, and minor plumbing work.
- Track work orders using the CMMS system Maximo.
- Conduct monthly checks of facility and safety equipment, including inspecting extinguishers and alarms.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools.
- Experience with volt meters.
- Basic plumbing experience.
- General knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Experience with HVAC systems and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with outside vendors.
- Experience in facilities maintenance and repair.
- Strong communication skills.

Work Environment
Work in a state-of-the-art, FDA-regulated clean room environment, typical of a medical device manufacturer. The standard shift is from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Clara, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
