Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Systems and Software practice as a Program Lead. This permanent leadership role offers flexibility with location and remote work options. The Program Lead will be responsible for overseeing multiple services engagements, managing consultant teams, and ensuring the smooth operation of our onsite delivery program. This role involves significant interaction with support teams and internal partners to meet the expectations of our customers and consultants.
Responsibilities
- Achieve all service level agreements successfully.
- Identify project risk areas and suggest mitigation plans for Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Manage program resources assigned to tasks according to the project plan, set performance expectations, and escalate issues for rapid resolution.
- Perform supervisory duties including hiring, terminating, conducting performance reviews, and pay reviews for onsite consultants within assigned services programs.
- Collaborate closely with Practice Leadership, Account Leadership, Finance, and Recruiters to identify additional business and personnel needs.
- Ensure program budgets are tracked and reported as necessary.
- Work with finance and support teams to support accounts receivable for billing and invoicing.
- Conduct periodic status checks with customers and team to assess progress against the plan.
- Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly status reports to management and appropriate client stakeholders.
- Resolve program issues with customers and suppliers as appropriate.
- Support account growth and evolution, preparing for transformation to different delivery groups when necessary for additional technical oversight.
- Travel as necessary to support customer and employee activity and attend internal meetings.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proven knowledge of project management methods required; PMP certification desired.
- Minimum of 2 years management experience managing mid-size services programs, projects, consultant teams, and/or engagements.
- Minimum of 6 years overall professional experience required; experience with third-party project management vendors highly desired.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to execute contractual service agreements and SOWs.
- Strong process improvement and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities managing large, dispersed teams with diverse technical skillsets.
- Ability to effectively present to large customer groups.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience within engineering services or talent solutions industry is a plus.
- Ability to diagnose client and internal service delivery pain points and develop creative solutions.
- Team player with the ability to work in a highly cross-functional and virtual environment.
- Ability to travel occasionally or as needed, up to 20%.
- Highly proficient in PC applications, especially MS Office suite of tools.
Work Environment
This role offers a flexible work environment with location and remote work options. It requires occasional travel, up to 20%, to support customer and employee activities and attend internal meetings. The position involves working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and utilizing technologies such as MS Office suite of tools.
