Job Description
As a CNC Machinist, you will set up and operate 2, 3, 4, and/or 5-axis CNC machines and conventional machines to produce complex aerospace parts. You will demonstrate advanced cross-training flexibility and possess experience with most automated CNC machines and their operational capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines to produce complex aerospace parts.
- Perform complex set-ups without assistance on multiple machines, including checking or changing chucking jaws, tools, and rotating offsets.
- Conduct pre-operational inspections and study blueprints, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces.
- Fully operate multiple machines as needed, including CNC and conventional mills.
- Read and understand blueprints and inspection requirements.
- Work with metals such as stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of CNC experience and preferably 3 years of conventional experience.
- Ability to set up and run different types of machines, both manual and CNC.
- Experience with 2, 3, 4, or 5-axis machines, with preference for experience with 2 or 5-axis.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with specific equipment such as Okuma, Hitachi Seiki, and the ability to work with Mazatrol, Okuma, and Fanuc controls.

Work Environment
You will work in a large, non-union manufacturing environment alongside 25-27 machinists across three shifts. The facility has undergone extensive modernization to create a contemporary, eco-friendly, and environmentally compliant industrial enterprise.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
