Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: South San Francisco, CA

Shift: 1st Shift, 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift

Pay: Salary $70,000 - $120,000

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Production Supervisors to join our team at our South San Francisco plant. You will contribute to the success of our bakery by supervising day-to-day production, ensuring high-quality product execution, and meeting cost control and service objectives. We have openings for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain daily batch/production/packaging sheets to produce and package the correct amount of product.
• Control and maintain product quality, ensuring consistency by managing raw and packaging materials.
• Eliminate unnecessary overtime and collaborate with management to improve work schedules.
• Assist management in training staff, promoting safe work practices, and ensuring retention of new hires.
• Establish and maintain positive work relations, improve morale, and communicate professionally and respectfully.
• Collaborate with the team to meet daily production deadlines.
• Manage and update work schedules, supporting managers in covering absences.
• Maintain a clean, organized department that meets company standards.
• Be available for problem-solving and may require extra hours or working days off during extreme circumstances.
• Direct team on breaks, lunches, policy, and practices as needed.
• Operate all equipment safely and ensure others do the same.
• Support and comply with all company policies, GMP, and safety practices, setting a good example for others.
• Take initiative to make proactive decisions and solve problems effectively.
• Communicate effectively with all staff and management without delay.

• Supervision and production management skills
• Continuous improvement and lean manufacturing expertise
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities
• Extensive knowledge of baking techniques with the ability to teach and improve these skills in others
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Technical leadership in bakery operations
• Problem-solving skills
• Understanding of safety procedures
• Familiarity with AIB, GMP, and HACCP standards

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in food production and manufacturing operations
• Six Sigma and industrial management skills
• Safety and supervisory skills

This is a Permanent position based out of South San Francisco, CA.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

Pay rate is flexible Benefits are provided Upward Mobility

This is a fully onsite position in South San Francisco,CA.

This position is anticipated to close on Dec 25, 2025.
