Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician who can maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance. The ideal candidate will be proficient in computers and MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively communicating with both internal and external customers. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service is crucial. The role requires an individual who can work independently and complete assignments within prescribed routines and standard practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance activities and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, pneumatics, and automation equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Determine the cause of machine downtime, poor quality, or performance issues.
• Install support equipment, machines, hoses, basic wiring, and lubrication.
• Utilize Computer Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) effectively.
• Operate company vehicles and equipment, including forklifts, man lifts, and cranes.
• Wire 3-phase motors, change out fuses, and reset motor breakers.
• Read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams.

• 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance technician, ideally in food production.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Proficiency in computers and MS Office applications.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
• Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes with little notice.

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.
• Two-year degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with automation equipment and CMMS systems.
• Ability to provide own tools and roll away toolbox.

Work Environment

Work alongside a team of skilled maintenance technicians. Two shifts are available: the first shift from 3 pm to 11:30 pm and the second shift from 11:30 pm until 7 am. This role involves hands-on work in a collaborative and supportive team setting.

This is a Permanent position based out of South San Francisco, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93800.00/yr.
