BIM Modeler/Coordinator

As a BIM Modeler/Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating detailed shop drawings and BIM models for coordination with other trades. You will work with project management and field supervisory personnel to ensure designs are completed within budget and according to specifications. Your role will also involve participating in the quality control process and clash detection and resolution.

• Create shop drawings in CAD, Revit, or similar software following project specifications with minimal direction.
• Develop BIM models for coordination with other trades utilizing Revit at a minimum Level of Development (LOD) 350.
• Participate in clash detection and resolution using designated software and BIM 360.
• Collaborate with project management and field supervisory personnel to ensure design and installation are performed within or below budget.
• Engage in the quality control process using plans and specifications provided by customers and internally created shop drawings and models.

• Strong experience in detailing or design within the electrical industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Revit, and similar software.
• Solid project coordination skills.
• 3D modeling and shop drawings expertise.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Extraordinary attention to detail with high accuracy.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Superior organizational and time management skills.
• Self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work cooperatively with customers and design consultants.
• A can-do attitude with a focus on achieving results.

This is a Permanent position based out of Sunnyvale, CA.

The pay range for this position is $135000.00 - $156000.00/yr.
