Job Title: Material Handler II in Sunnyvale

Shift: Day

Pay: $25-$27 (depending on experience)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated material handler who is comfortable loading and unloading at a docking station. The role involves unpacking materials and placing them in appropriate storage locations within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will work efficiently in a controlled environment with varying temperatures, ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials at the docking station.
• Unpack materials and store them in appropriate warehouse locations.
• Stage packaging materials based on the batching schedule.
• Utilize a handheld scanner to verify orders and manage inventory.
• Put away finished goods as they are completed or batched.
• Stage and pack outgoing materials according to sales and stock transfer orders.
• Generate labels for incoming and outgoing materials.
• Engage in operational activities such as materials receipt, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory cycle counting.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in SAP systems.
• Experience in cycle counting and material handling.
• Skilled in shipping and receiving processes.
• Proficient in data entry and inventory cycle counting.
• Forklift operation skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with the FedEx PowerShip system.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Forklift certification.
• Experience in handling different types of hazardous materials.

Work Environment

The work environment includes both office settings and multiple warehouse conditions with temperatures ranging from room temperature to -15°C. The role requires the ability to work in adverse weather conditions, including outdoor settings.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sunnyvale, CA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
