Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join a dynamic business venture team. The role involves supporting test coverage across cloud services, middleware, and vehicle connectivity strategies. Key responsibilities include creating and executing automated and manual test cases upon baseline releases.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation of automated and manual test cases for baseline releases.
• Conduct manual testing of embedded vehicle software, mobile apps, and web platforms.
• Perform OTA (Over-The-Air) update testing and vehicle telematics validation.
• Write tests for RESTful APIs and maintain comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaborate with business partners to adapt to changes in business strategy and communicate solution value to stakeholders.
• Utilize version control systems, bug tracking tools, and test management tools effectively.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in manual testing and test automation using tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Python, C++.
• Experience in MQTT, CAN, and LIN communication protocols.
• Strong knowledge of web automation and software test life cycle.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of writing tests for RESTful APIs.
• Working knowledge of version control systems (e.g., GitHub), bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA), and test management tools.
• Start-up environment experience is beneficial.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed for networking events, conferences, and trade shows.
