As an Assistant Controller, you'll partner closely with Operations to drive financial performance across multiple locations. You'll report to the District Controller and play a key role in financial reporting, process improvement, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly close and prepare financial statements
- Reconcile general ledger accounts
- Analyze financial variances and prepare forecasts
- Support budgeting and rate analysis
- Communicate financial insights to operations teams
- Manage accounting data flow from remote sites
- Ensure SOX compliance and internal controls
- Train non-financial staff on accounting practices
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies as needed
- Occasional travel required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 1-3 years of accounting experience (public accounting preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with budgeting and financial analysis
