IMMEDIATE HIRING FOR MACHINE OPERATOR ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team in handling and packaging certified 100% organic whole food mushroom powder. The role requires physical ability to lift between 20-50lbs and involves assisting in the bagging, labeling, and wrapping processes. You will be responsible for filling small to medium-sized pouches, preparing boxes for shipment, performing inspections, and assisting with paperwork and order tracking.

• Assist in the bagging process of certified 100% organic whole food mushroom powder.
• Help build boxes, label, and wrap products.
• Fill small to medium-sized pouches with mushroom powder.
• Fill boxes with labeled and sealed pouches following work orders.
• Prepare completed boxes for shipment.
• Perform inspection of products and boxes before shipment.
• Assist in the paperwork process, tracking counts, and orders.

• Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Experience in a production line environment.
• Ability to lift boxes and handle food production tasks.
• Experience in packaging and labeling.
• Ability to cross-train and learn quickly.
• General production and machine operation skills.
• Good attitude and quick learning ability.

• 1 year of production experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 20lbs+, occasionally up to 50lbs.

This role operates Monday to Friday across three shifts: 1st shift from 6:30am to 3:00pm, 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:30pm, and 3rd shift from 11pm to 7:30am. The work environment involves working near or in the dehydration process and can be hot, requiring the use of a bunny suit. The position involves rotating between stations including wash, packaging, dehydration, and milling.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
