Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Job Description

Perform radiographic procedures by operating equipment using ionizing radiation according to established procedures and under the direction of a radiologist. Process all documentation and perform all duties independently and without supervision. This is an LOA coverage position that has no current end date.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment using ionizing radiation as per established procedures.
• Perform radiographic procedures under the direction of a radiologist.
• Process and manage all necessary documentation related to radiographic procedures.
• Deliver high-quality patient care and ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Utilize Phillips C-ARM and FUJI Portable X-ray equipment effectively.

Essential Skills

• Certification in ARRT.
• Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certificate (CRT).
• California permit in Radiologic Technology and Fluoroscopy.
• BLS Certification.
• At least 2+ years of experience as an X-Ray Tech, preferably in a hospital setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OR experience is advantageous.
• Must possess excellent patient care skills.

Work Environment

The position offers three different schedules/shifts including Graveyard shift (10:30pm-7pm, with every other weekend), 2nd shift (3pm - 11:30pm, with every other weekend), and Afternoon shift (12pm - 8:30pm, with every other weekend, and weekend start time between 1pm-2pm). The work location is in the cities of Covina, Glendora, and West Covina in the East San Gabriel Valley, renowned for being a great place to work.
