Pay: $25–$30/hr (DOE) — up to $35/hr for highly experienced framers

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Framing Carpenter to support a high‑end custom home build in Westlake Village. This role requires strong structural framing abilities, independent work capability, and experience in residential construction. Candidates must be skilled in wall framing, blocking, and basic blueprint reading.

Key Responsibilities

Perform wall framing, layout, and structural installations

Install blocking for cabinets, rails, fixtures, and shear walls

Safely operate skill saws, nail guns, and other framing tools

Read and interpret basic blueprints

Coordinate with project leads to maintain quality and meet deadlines

Follow jobsite safety standards and maintain a clean work area

Support general framing tasks

(No finish carpentry required)

Essential Skills

Minimum 5 years of framing experience

Ability to frame walls, install blocking, and follow structural plans

Basic blueprint reading skills

Proficiency with skill saws, nail guns, levels, and standard framing tools

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Comfortable working outdoors on an active jobsite

Roof framing experience

Work Environment

This position is based outdoors on an active construction site in Westlake Village, CA. You must bring your own skill saw and nail gun with hoses. Standard construction PPE is required.

This is a Contract position based out of Westlake Village, CA.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $83200.00/yr.
