General Laborer – Environmental Technician

Location: Boulder, CO & Denver International Airport (DEN), Aurora, CO

Schedule: 55 hours/week over a rotating 2‑week schedule

Contract Length: 3 months (with potential extension)

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable Environmental Technician (General Laborer) to support operations across two key sites: a pharmaceutical facility in Boulder and Denver International Airport. This role plays a critical part in maintaining safety and cleanliness standards in both environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform firewatch duties at the Boulder pharmaceutical site.
• Conduct waste cleaning at passenger pick‑up levels 4 and 6 at Denver International Airport.
• Clean walls, doors, and signage using buckets, mops, rags, and a 5% bleach solution to remove waste residue.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard‑free work area.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in construction, demolition, excavation, or similar labor‑intensive environments.
• Reliable transportation required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Additional Requirements

• Must be eligible to obtain a DEN Airport Badge (check required).
• Experience with industrial cleaning is a plus.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Boulder Pharmaceutical Site:
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (day shift)
• Denver International Airport (Aurora):
  • Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM (overnight shift)

This blended schedule averaged over a two‑week period totals 55 hours per week.

This is a Contract position based out of Arvada, CO.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
