As a Junior Laborer, you're essential to onsite support for the safe and efficient execution of infrastructure upgrade activities. This role supports skilled tradesman, technicians, and engineers by assisting with site preparation, equipment handling, material movement, and general labor tasks. As a key member of the team, this position performs physical work in active construction, IT, and utility environments while ensuring compliance with all safety and security regulations.
Position will be located at Buckley SFB.
This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Proficient with writing reports and updating data in MS Excel and Word.

Office and outside environment with potential to support austere locations.
Physical Activities:
Must be able to lift / carry 75 lbs.

Responsibilities
Major Job Activities:
- Performs tasks involving physical labor at installation to aid daily operations.
- Assists in movement of equipment, racks, boxes, pallets.
- Assists in cleanup and restoration of facilities to pre-install conditions.
- Dispose of waste materials.
- Performs site preparation and implementation activities required to implement approved ISP / OSP solution.
- Operates hand and power tools of all types, including air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
- May clean and prepare sites; dig trenches; set braces to support the sides of excavations; erect scaffolding; and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials.
- Assists in the installation of ISP / OSP cabling, installation of racks/cabinets and equipment.
- Racks and stacks network devices.
- Performs cable dressing, labeling, and documentation.
- Assists in restoration activities to return site to previous condition before project work.

Qualifications
Education / Certifications:
- High School Diploma
- 5 years with High School Diploma
- Experience supporting large, complex network modernizations.
- Proficient with writing reports and updating data in MS Excel and Word.
