Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Solidworks and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical or electro/mechanical engineering and experience in machining. Responsibilities

• Design and test packaging and automation equipment.
• Provide engineered packaging solutions to enhance performance and reliability in process fulfillment facilities worldwide.
• Spearhead the redesign of existing products to reduce cost or improve efficiencies and quality.
• Convert functional design concepts, preliminary 2D and 3D drawings, and design specifications into solid models and detailed bill of materials.
• Work on a variety of engineering projects, including the design of new equipment, redesign of current equipment, or development of complete systems.

Essential Skills

• 2-6 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency in Solidworks and AutoCAD, both 2D and 3D.
• Experience in designing packaging machines.
• Understanding of distribution center operations, material handling technology, and warehouse software system technology.
• Experience with machines and automation, conveyors, sortation systems, print and apply, and other packaging systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in engineering program and project management, conceptual design, detailed design, prototyping, manufacturing, performance analysis, technical documentation, and configuration is advantageous.
• The degree is not required if the candidate has relevant experience.
• Adaptability to work on diverse projects and explore different avenues within the company.
