Job Title: Technician


Job Description

The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, programming, and inspecting tasks related to Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machines. Additionally, the role may require soldering on printed circuit boards (PCB) under a microscope.


Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and program SMT machines.
  • Perform inspections related to SMT machines.
  • Conduct soldering tasks on PCBs under a microscope.
  • Utilize Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) techniques.
  • Assemble circuits using microscope.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with SMT machines (Samsung or Hanwha).
  • Proficiency in Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) operations and programming.
  • Experience with PCB or PCBA.
  • Ability to perform SMT and Throughhole soldering, rework, or repair.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in relevant roles.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of IPC-610 standards.

Work Environment

The work environment includes both office and onsite manufacturing settings, with international connections and domestic capabilities within the US. The facility is dog-friendly, accommodating pets like the manager's dog, Nugget. The role requires extensive physical activity, with candidates needing to be comfortable spending most of the day on their feet.
