Job Title: UI Developer (React)

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated UI React Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern React development, with a keen interest in UI/UX design principles and professional growth within the React domain. This role involves working closely with our Human Factors Engineers and Development and Security Operations team to maintain and enhance our CI/CD pipeline, as well as collaborating with backend developers to ensure seamless integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using React 18+ (latest version of 16 acceptable).
• Utilize Typescript and NextJS for enhanced development processes.
• Follow industry patterns and understand their implications on user experience.
• Collaborate with Human Factors Engineers to learn and grow in UI/UX design.
• Pursue professional development opportunities in the React domain.
• Control and maintain CI/CD pipelines with input from the Development and Security Operations team.
• Utilize Git for version control.
• Work with Swagger and OpenAPI schema for API integration.
• Understand backend development in Java or C++ to work independently and effectively with backend teams.
• Demonstrate the ability to understand technical guidance and implement it in product development.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in modern React development (version 18 preferred, version 16 acceptable).
• Familiarity with Typescript and NextJS is a plus.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and industry patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline management.
• Proficiency in Git version control and API integration.
• Basic knowledge of backend development in Java or C++.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and development.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

This position is preferred onsite in Colorado Springs, but we are open to remote candidates.
