As a Journeyman Logistician, you will be responsible for the planning, coordinating, and execution of logistical support activities that ensure the timely delivery, accountability, and sustainment of materials, equipment, and assets. This role plays a vital part in the enabling of mission success by maintaining end-to-end visibility of inventory, optimizing supply chain workflows, and supporting field operations. Working alongside engineering, procurement, and project management teams, the Journeyman Logistician ensures all materials and equipment are sourced, shipped, received, stored, and distributed in a compliant manner.
Position may be located at Cheyenne Mountain SFS and/or Peterson SFB.
This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Responsibilities
Major Job Activities:
- Prepares procurement requests, equipment orders.
- Checks manifests, labels, IUID tagging to comply with DoD and DAF policies.
- Packs and labels all components for shipment to BAN location.
- Assists receipt and acceptance at Program Management offices, intermediary, and USG locations, including warehouse management, inventory accuracy, and location accuracy.
- Supports purchasing requests.
- Responsible for procurement of supplies and materials.
- Responsible for logistics support activities (e.g., warehousing, transporting, shipping, tracking, delivering, and staging equipment) of all equipment to individual installation sites.
- Prepares and evaluates all logistics documentation and operations, including overseas customs documents.
- Provides logistics technical data support to develop, review, and revise engineering and technical documentation for timely and effective fielding of systems.

Qualifications
Education / Certifications:
- BA / BS Degree; Or
- High School Diploma or Associate Degree.
- LCL certification preferred but not required.
- 5 years with BA / BS degree; Or
- Minimum of 7 years with a High School Diploma or Associate Degree performing as a Logistician on large, complex programs.
- This position requires an active Department of Defense (DoD) TS-SCI (Tier 5) level clearance.
- Proficient with writing reports and updating data in MS Excel and Word.
