Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team at a large solvent treatment, storage, and recycling facility. The role primarily involves general labor tasks and processing container waste. Initially, you will train on the first shift before transitioning to the third shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving waste materials.
• Decontaminate empty drums and containers.
• Create manifest forms for documentation.
• Perform manual labor in cleaning and decontamination processes.
• Load and unload containers, including totes, drums, tankers, and trailers.
• Decontaminate and dispose of empty drums and containers according to RCRA and disposal guidelines.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in material handling and general labor tasks.
• Experience in picking, sorting, scanning, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and RF scanner usage.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production plant, transloading, oil and gas, or airport tarmac environments.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency with Gmail and Teams.

Work Environment

The position is based at a 24/7 outdoor warehouse facility. Training will occur on the day shift for 3-6 months, after which you will transition to the third shift (6pm-4am) with a $2 shift differential. There is no shift differential during the training period.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce City, CO.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Commerce City,CO.
