Job Title: REMOTE Mechanical Engineer Opportunity

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 1–3 years of professional experience in building systems design. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow within a dynamic team. This role involves supporting mechanical design efforts for commercial, educational, and institutional projects and requires you to have or be working towards an EIT license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and layout of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and energy modeling.
• Prepare construction documents using Revit.
• Coordinate with architects, other engineering disciplines, and clients.
• Conduct site visits and field investigations.
• Support project documentation and submittal reviews.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical building systems.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical design software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Actively pursuing EIT or PE licensure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing design.
• Familiarity with building design principles.

Work Environment

This is a remote role, but candidates must be located in Colorado, ideally in the Denver area, with the willingness to attend site visits as needed. The mechanical team comprises approximately 18 people. The work schedule includes nine-hour workdays from Monday to Thursday and half-days on Fridays.
