Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with 10-15 years of experience. The candidate must possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license as they will be responsible for stamping drawings. This role involves both drawing and client-facing tasks, requiring a personality that is willing and adaptable to client interactions.

The position allows for fully remote work. Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage electrical engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring they meet client specifications, budget, and timeline.
• Develop and review detailed electrical designs, including lighting and power, using software like AutoCAD and Revit.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and construction teams to ensure integrated and efficient designs.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, such as ASHRAE standards and local building codes.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and educational work environment.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs, present design solutions, and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Skills

• Electrical engineering expertise, particularly in commercial building design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience in electrical engineering with a proven track record of leading projects.
• Other relevant certifications are a plus but not required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.

The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $59.00/hr.
