Job Title: Logistic Specialist II


Job Description

Join the team operating the world's largest cloud computing infrastructure. This role is designed for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence. As a Logistic Specialist II, you will play a crucial role in monitoring inventory levels to support build and repair activities. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory, checking out parts to Datacenter Technicians and Engineers, and transporting parts between locations.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure proper stock maintenance.
  • Receive, maintain, and check out parts to Datacenter Technicians and Engineers.
  • Load and unload shipments, transporting parts between different locations.
  • Keep precise records of all commodities entering and leaving the company.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces.
  • Assist in loading and unloading shipments.
  • Handle vendor relationships effectively.

Essential Skills

  • 2-4 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and follow directions in English.
  • Capability to lift loads up to 49 pounds and carry them for short distances.
  • Willingness to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • Ability to climb and descend stairs safely.
  • Coordination of body movements when using tools or equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience using Inventory Management Systems.
  • Understanding of inventory control methodology.
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Demonstrated positive work attitude and leadership skills.
  • Commitment to a culture of operational excellence.

Work Environment

This position requires working fully onsite in Denver, CO. The work environment varies between office and warehouse settings. Noise levels may range from low to loud, and temperatures can fluctuate between 60 and 90 degrees, occasionally exceeding 90 degrees. The role involves working around moving mechanical parts and requires standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods. It occasionally exposes you to extreme cold or hot weather and requires the ability to push or pull heavy objects into position.
