We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist Operator to join our advanced manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate state‑of‑the‑art CNC machinery to produce high‑precision components that meet rigorous industry standards. You will work with cutting‑edge technology, contribute to high‑impact projects, and ensure all processes align with safety and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
CNC Operation & Production
- Operate advanced CNC machinery including vertical milling, turning, Swiss turning, and 5‑axis multitasking equipment.
- Perform cutting, drilling, milling, and turning operations based on job orders, making real‑time adjustments to maintain accuracy.
- Set up CNC machines by selecting appropriate tools, dies, fixtures, and entering control instructions into machine software.
- Select, prepare, and secure raw materials on machine beds or in holding fixtures.
Quality Assurance
- Conduct detailed inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to strict specifications—especially for medical, aerospace, and defense components.
- Perform first article inspections and ongoing quality checks throughout production.
- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) for advanced inspection tasks.
- Document production processes, machine settings, and quality measures in compliance with ISO and AS9100:2016 standards.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform daily, weekly, and preventive maintenance on CNC machines.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical and operational issues to maintain continuous production flow.
- Identify and escalate significant equipment problems when necessary.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Work closely with machinists, engineers, and quality control teams to ensure smooth production processes.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and contribute suggestions for process improvements.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools and quality control software.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and basic CAD/CAM concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and detailed technical drawings.
- Skilled in operating CMM equipment for part inspection.
- High attention to detail and strong ability to identify defects.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Solid working knowledge of machining tools, equipment, materials, and standard practices.
- Experience interpreting complex blueprints and engineering documentation.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Vocational training or certification in CNC machining preferred.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $66560.00/yr.
